This week, we are excited to shine a spotlight on one of our newest partners in FUSION Co-op Work-Based Learning—Panera Bread. As part of the CCPS Powerful Partners team, Panera has stepped up in a big way to support our students and help prepare them for the future.
Panera is more than a place to grab a meal—it’s a fast-paced, people-centered environment where students can learn the skills that will serve them for life. Through their co-op experience, students are gaining valuable training in multi-tasking, maintaining a strong work ethic, operating point-of-sale systems, and handling customer service with confidence. They are even practicing leadership skills by helping train new employees, taking initiative when needed, and stepping up during busy rush periods.
These lessons are about so much more than food service. They’re about responsibility, professionalism, and problem-solving—the employability skills every young adult needs, no matter what career path they choose. By investing in students now, Panera is helping to build a workforce that is not only skilled but also adaptable and resilient.
We are so grateful to Panera Bread for joining our mission and for caring about both our kids and our community. By opening their doors and mentoring students, they are truly doing their part to train the workforce of the future.
✨ If your business would like to join the CCPS Powerful Partners team and make an impact on students through FUSION Work-Based Learning, please reach out to me at Kelly.Gates@christian.kyschools.us. We would love to feature your partnership in an upcoming Workforce Wednesday.
