Students interested in joining the Christian County Middle School Dance Team will soon have the opportunity to show their skills and become part of the program during upcoming dance tryouts at Christian County Middle School.
Tryouts will take place in the CCMS Gymnasium on two dates:
- May 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- May 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
During the tryout sessions, students will learn and perform a short dance routine while also being given the opportunity to showcase their own individual skills and personality. Organizers say the tryouts are designed to help students learn, grow, and demonstrate both effort and teamwork.
Students planning to attend should wear black leggings along with either a red or blue t-shirt. Dance shoes or sneakers are recommended, and participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the sessions. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are also expected from all participants. Students must also have a current sports physical completed before participating.

The Christian County Middle School Dance Team provides students with an opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, school spirit, and performance skills while representing their school throughout the year.
