The Christian County Lady Tigers had that opportunity this week as they traveled to Western Kentucky University for a team camp, competing on the same floor where collegiate athletes chase championships and pursue their dreams.
The Lady Tigers have already been hard at work throughout the summer, logging practices, workouts, and games as they prepare for the upcoming season. But playing at WKU brought a little extra excitement to the day. The team embraced the moment and finished with a perfect 2-0 record.
While the wins were exciting, summer basketball is really about the time spent together. Long before the first official game tips off, teams are built during summer workouts, road trips, and days like this one.
