At Christian County High School, leadership isn’t only about holding a title. Sometimes leadership looks like showing up, lending a hand, seeing a need, and deciding to do something about it.
That is exactly what the Rotary Interact Club is all about.
Rotary Interact is a student-led service and leadership organization for young people ages 12–18. Connected with Rotary International and supported by local Rotarians, Interact gives students an opportunity to make a difference—not just inside the walls of their school, but throughout their community and beyond.
For CCHS students, that means another opportunity to put leadership into action.
More Than Just Another Club
Interact members work together to identify needs and develop service projects that can have a real impact. That might mean supporting a local organization, organizing a donation drive, volunteering at a community event, helping fellow students, or finding an entirely new way to serve Christian County.
The projects may change, but the purpose remains the same: students serving others while becoming stronger leaders themselves.
Students aren’t simply asked to participate. They have opportunities to help develop ideas, organize projects, communicate with community partners, solve problems, and work together to turn an idea into something meaningful.
Those are skills that reach far beyond high school.
Leadership Through Service
Rotary is built around the idea of “Service Above Self.”
It’s a simple phrase with a big challenge behind it: look beyond yourself and ask what you can do for someone else.
Interact gives students a place to practice that idea.
Leadership doesn’t always have to happen at the front of a room. It can happen while collecting donations, cleaning up a community space, helping organize an event, supporting a classmate, or volunteering when someone needs an extra set of hands.
Every act of service is an opportunity to strengthen the community around us.
Connecting CCHS With Our Community
One of the greatest opportunities Interact provides is the connection between students and the larger Christian County community.
Through its relationship with Rotary, students can meet and work alongside community leaders, professionals, business owners, volunteers, and organizations that are already working to make our community stronger.
Those connections allow students to see something important: you don’t have to wait until adulthood to make an impact.
CCHS students can make that impact right now.
Another Way to Earn Your Stripes
As Christian County High School continues building the traditions and identity of Tiger Nation, organizations like Interact give students another opportunity to decide what being a Tiger will mean.
It can mean serving.
It can mean leading.
It can mean recognizing that our individual talents become even more powerful when we use them to help the people around us.
The Rotary Interact Club isn’t simply about adding another activity to a student’s schedule. It’s about giving students an opportunity to become part of something bigger than themselves.
It’s about turning ideas into action and action into impact.
And it’s another opportunity for CCHS students to show Christian County exactly what it means to be a Tiger.
