Big news out of Hopkinsville — Christian County High School has been officially named the Kentucky High Attendance Day Region 2 Winner for High Attendance Day, held on September 9, 2026!
This is a huge honor, and it belongs to every single person who makes up the CCHS community. Recognitions like this don’t happen by accident — they happen because students showed up, parents made it a priority to get their kids to school, and staff worked hard every day to create a place worth showing up for.
Attendance might not always grab headlines, but it’s one of the clearest signs of a healthy, connected school community. Every day a student walks through the doors ready to learn is a win — for that student, for their classmates, for their teachers, and for the school as a whole. This regional title is proof that those everyday wins add up to something bigger.
To our students: thank you for being here. To our parents and families: thank you for partnering with us to make attendance a priority. And to our incredible CCHS staff: thank you for building a school worth coming to every single day.
