The Christian County High School FFA is calling for member volunteers to lend a helping hand in refreshing Sandy’s Corner at the MLK Early Learning Center, located at the old Indian Hills Elementary. This community service project is scheduled for July 10th, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and aims to create a welcoming outdoor space for future students.
Sandy’s Corner, a cherished area at the learning center, is in need of some care and attention to restore its charm and functionality. Volunteers will perform various tasks to revitalize this important space, including weeding, pressure washing, and general clean-up.
The FFA’s initiative not only provides an excellent opportunity for members to give back to the community but also helps foster a sense of teamwork and pride in improving the local environment. The effort to refresh Sandy’s Corner will ensure that young learners at the MLK Early Learning Center have a pleasant and inviting outdoor area for their activities and learning experiences.
All FFA members are encouraged to participate in this worthwhile project. Your contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of the children who will benefit from the revitalized Sandy’s Corner. Let’s come together to create a beautiful and functional space for our community’s youngest learners.
For more information or to sign up as a volunteer, don’t hesitate to contact the Christian County High School FFA coordinator. Your time and effort in this project will be greatly appreciated.
