Cate Blane Qualifies for State Championship After Impressive Performance

Cate Blane has successfully secured her place in the next round of the Girls’ Golf State Championships after an outstanding performance during the first round held at the Hopkinsville Country Club. Blane shot an impressive 81, earning her the opportunity to compete in the final rounds of the tournament.

The opening rounds of the championships featured fierce competition across three separate sites, with the Hopkinsville Golf & Country Club hosting qualifiers from Regions 1-4. Blane, representing Hopkinsville High School, showcased her skill and determination on the challenging course, placing herself among the top contenders moving forward.

As Blane and other qualifiers advance, all eyes now turn to the Bowling Green Country Club, where the finals will be held from October 10-12. This marks the 19th consecutive year that the prestigious girls’ state finals will take place at this iconic venue. Blane will look to continue her strong performance as she competes against the best golfers from around the state.

With her consistent play and focus, Blane is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming rounds.
