CCMS Wrestles well at Trigg County MS Tournament

The Christian County Middle School wrestling team delivered a strong performance at the Trigg County Middle School Tournament this past weekend, with several wrestlers securing top finishes and demonstrating their talent on the mat.

Leading the team were Jaiterryan McKnight and Gabriel Glasscock, who both achieved impressive 2nd place finishes in their respective weight classes. McKnight competed fiercely in the 89 lbs division, while Glasscock put forth a commendable effort in the 101 lbs division, showcasing their hard work and dedication.

Sam Pryor took 4th place in the 150 lbs division, and Lakyreon Davie finished in 6th place in the 185 lbs division, adding to Christian County’s successful showing at the tournament.

In addition to these top finishes, several other wrestlers won matches over the weekend, contributing to the team’s overall success. Among them were Ben Bentzel, Grayson Warfield, Octavius Abren, Carlos Mimms, Serenity Avalos, Logan Renshaw, Noah Thomas, Jalen Sowerby, Eric Moore, and Jackson Clark.

The Christian County Middle School wrestling team has demonstrated great promise and sportsmanship, reflecting the strength of the program and the hard work of each athlete. Congratulations to all the wrestlers for their dedication and accomplishments, making Christian County proud!
