Two seniors from Gateway Academy, Addison Edwards of Christian County High School and Kaylee Wright of Hopkinsville High School, earned second place in the Interactive Bulletin Board competition at the Educators Rising Regional Conference held at Murray State University. Their achievement has secured them a spot at the Educators Rising State Conference, scheduled to take place in March at Bellarmine University in Louisville.

The Interactive Bulletin Board competition challenged participants to design and present a visually engaging and interactive board that could be used as an effective teaching tool in a classroom. Addison and Kaylee’s project combined creativity, functionality, and educational impact, earning them high marks from the judges.
