Logan Cameron, an Industrial Maintenance/Robotics and Manufacturing (IM/RM) Pathway student at Gateway Academy and Christian County High School (CCHS), is gaining hands-on experience through the Fusion Work-Based Learning (WBL) program. Logan has been a key part of the team at Rural King, contributing his skills and dedication to help launch their new store.
As one of the first hires at Rural King, Logan has taken on a variety of responsibilities throughout the store. His focus has been in key areas like tools, hardware, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other essential departments. This wide-ranging experience not only strengthens Logan’s technical knowledge but also builds vital employability skills such as adaptability, customer service, and teamwork.
This year marks Rural King’s first partnership with the CCPS Fusion program, and their support has created exciting opportunities for students like Logan. By offering work-based learning placements, Rural King is helping students develop practical skills that prepare them for careers after high school.
