Fusion in Action: Jacorie Jones Builds Business Skills at Hibbett Sports

Christian County High School (CCHS) business student Jacorie Jones is putting classroom knowledge into practice through the Fusion Work-Based Learning (WBL) program. Jacorie is learning valuable skills in business management, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship, while also building essential employability traits like teamwork, communication, and responsibility.

This year marks the first time Hibbett Sports has joined the Fusion WBL program, creating new opportunities for students like Jacorie to gain real-world experience. At Hibbett, Jacorie is applying what he’s learned in school to real business operations, from managing inventory to assisting customers. This hands-on experience helps him see how the concepts he studies in the classroom come to life in a professional setting.

The management team at Hibbett Sports has stepped up to mentor these students, providing guidance and real opportunities to grow. By partnering with CCPS, they are helping to shape the future of young professionals while expanding their workforce with motivated and talented local students.

Thank you to Hibbett Sports for joining the Fusion WBL program and supporting students like Jacorie as they prepare for their future careers. Together, we are building a strong foundation for the next generation of business leaders!
