The Fusion Work-Based Learning Program continues to connect students with hands-on career experiences, and Colton North, a Christian County High School and Gateway Academy Automotive Pathway student, is taking his skills to the next level at Toyota of Hopkinsville.

Learning the Automotive Industry

Colton is gaining real-world experience in light auto repair and maintenance, working alongside professional technicians to develop his technical abilities and knowledge of vehicle safety. His time at Toyota of Hopkinsville is helping him build a strong foundation in automotive service, an industry that continues to grow and evolve.

Through his work-based learning experience, Colton is developing both technical skills and employability skills that will prepare him for a successful career, including:
