There are a lot of important days in a school year.
The first football game. The first band performance. Graduation.
But before any of those moments happen, there’s another day that matters just as much: the day students and families walk through the doors for the very first time.
Christian County High School is inviting Tiger families to do exactly that during its Academy-Specific Open Houses on Tuesday, August 11, and Wednesday, August 12.
These evenings aren’t about sitting through long presentations or trying to memorize a class schedule. They’re about something much simpler—and far more important. They’re about meeting the people who will spend the next year encouraging, challenging, and cheering on your student.
On Tuesday, August 11, families from the Academy of Freshman Success and the Academy of Business, Engineering & Manufacturing are invited to explore the new campus, meet teachers, connect with academy staff, and get a first look at the opportunities waiting inside the classrooms.
On Wednesday, August 12, the doors open for families in the Academy of Agriculture & Skilled Trades and the Academy of Health & Community Services, giving students another chance to become familiar with the building before the hallways fill with the excitement of a new school year.
A new school is made of brick, steel, and glass. A great school is made of handshakes, conversations, familiar faces, and the confidence that comes from knowing where you belong.
These open houses are the first step in building that confidence.
Tiger families should keep an eye on ParentSquare for their official invitation and event details.
The school year is almost here. Before the first bell rings, come take a walk through the future home of Tiger Nation.
