Christian County Public Schools continues to make an impact beyond the classroom, as Mike Long was recently featured as both a speaker and panel member at the Kentucky Athletic Administrators Association (KAAA) Conference held in Louisville.
Long led a featured session focused on “ATC Curriculum within the School Setting,” highlighting the innovative approaches CCPS is using to prepare students for real-world opportunities in athletic training and sports medicine. His presentation showcased how hands-on learning and career-focused instruction are helping students build meaningful skills for the future.
In addition to his featured session, Long was selected to serve on a panel discussing “Emergency Action Plans – Preparing for the Unexpected.” This discussion brought together professionals from across the state to share best practices in student safety, preparedness, and response strategies in athletic environments.
Long’s involvement at the state level reflects both his expertise and the strength of CCPS programs. His work continues to shine a light on the unique opportunities available to students and staff within Christian County Public Schools.
