Christian County Public Schools is excited to announce that we will be hosting The Grind Session Tournament from October 2–5 at Hopkinsville High School, Christian County High School, and the Sportsplex.
The Grind Session is known as the first-ever winter circuit of elite high school basketball events, bringing together some of the best teams and athletes from across the country and beyond. In past years, the circuit has showcased its talent in some of the most unique cities in the U.S., as well as international stops in the Bahamas, Canada, and Puerto Rico. This year, Hopkinsville and Christian County will proudly join that list of host locations.
As part of the partnership with CCPS, The Grind Session has agreed to give back to our community in a big way. Every child signed up for Jr. Pro basketball will have the opportunity to attend a FREE camp hosted by The Grind Session on October 4 at Indian Hills Elementary School from 9–11:30 a.m. This camp is designed to inspire and teach young players, connecting them to some of the same athletes and coaches who are shaping the future of basketball.
In addition, every Jr. Pro player who attends the camp will receive one free admission to a Grind Session tournament game, giving them the chance to experience elite-level basketball up close.
This event is more than just a tournament—it’s an opportunity for our students, families, and community to be part of a global stage of basketball excellence, while also investing in the future of local youth athletes.
