The Christian County Colonels continue to build momentum as they shut out Madisonville-North Hopkins 4-0 on Friday, showing strong development on both the mound and in the field.
Eddie Davis delivered a standout performance, demonstrating poise and power on the hill. The right-hander struck out 10 batters over six and two-thirds innings, allowing just one hit and no runs, a testament to his command and confidence. Davis worked through some tough counts, issuing five walks, but kept the Maroons off balance all night long.
The Colonels’ offense came to life in the third inning when Aiden Lewis stepped up with a clutch single, driving in two key runs to give Christian County the early edge. Lewis finished 1-for-3 on the day and led the team with two RBIs.
Blake Boehman, Preston Stokes, and Sebastian Dazey each chipped in with a hit, contributing to a balanced offensive effort.
