The Christian County Colonels golf team took on tough competition Wednesday at the Hopkins County Central Storm Invitational, held at the Madisonville Country Club, and showed signs of growth as they continue to build experience this season.
Senior Drew Fincham led the way for the Colonels, posting the team’s best score of the day with a solid 85. His consistent play anchored the team and provided a bright spot as Christian County continues to develop its young roster.
Supporting Fincham were Lane Loden, who shot a 95, Chris Adcock with a 105, Reed Ezell with a 110, and Brady Brown, who finished with a 115. Their efforts gave the Colonels a combined team score of 395, placing them 17th overall in the field.
While McCracken County claimed the team title with an impressive 295, the Colonels remain focused on improvement and gaining valuable experience against strong regional competition.
With Fincham’s senior leadership and younger players continuing to develop their game, the Colonels are determined to keep lowering scores and making strides throughout the season. Every tournament is another step forward for a team committed to growth, hard work, and representing Christian County with pride.
