Every soccer player starts somewhere.
For some, it begins with chasing a ball across the backyard. For others, it’s their first organized practice, their first goal, or the first time they pull on a team jersey and realize they’re part of something bigger than themselves.
This July, young athletes across Christian County will have the opportunity to take that next step as the Christian County Tigers and Lady Tigers host their first-ever Youth Soccer Camp.
The three-day camp will be held July 20-22 from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and is open to students entering Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Campers will have the opportunity to learn from Christian County’s high school coaching staff, including Tigers Head Coach Will Bryan, Assistant Coach Ryan Roussel, and Lady Tigers Head Coach Jeff Addison. Throughout the camp, players will focus on skill development, teamwork, fundamentals, and most importantly, having fun while growing their love for the game.
Youth camps like this do more than teach soccer skills. They help build confidence, create friendships, and connect young athletes with the programs they may one day represent as Christian County Tigers and Lady Tigers.
The registration fee is $75 per child and includes a free camp t-shirt. Drinks and snacks will also be provided throughout the camp.
With participation limited to just 125 campers, organizers encourage families to register early to secure a spot.
For many young players, this camp could be the beginning of a lifelong soccer journey. For the Tigers and Lady Tigers coaching staffs, it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of soccer in Christian County and help inspire the next generation of student-athletes.
