Fusion in Action: Cameran Aldridge Gaining Real-World Experience in Computer Science

The Fusion Work-Based Learning Program continues to provide students with opportunities to apply their classroom knowledge in meaningful, real-world settings. Cameran Aldridge, a student in the Computer Science Pathway at Gateway Academy and Christian County High School, is a shining example of how these experiences prepare students for the future.

Technology in Action

Cameran works with the technology systems at the Pennyroyal Center, where he supports office operations across two different locations. His role requires him to balance responsibilities and manage his schedule effectively, showcasing both his technical skills and his ability to adapt to a professional environment. Cameran’s experience demonstrates the importance of flexibility, problem-solving, and time management—skills that are vital in today’s workforce.

Building a Future in Computer Science

By participating in this co-op experience, Cameran is not only sharpening his technical abilities but also gaining valuable insight into how technology supports business operations. This hands-on learning opportunity helps bridge the gap between education and the workforce, giving students like Cameran the tools they need to succeed after graduation.
