Gateway Academy is celebrating a major honor for one of its dedicated educators and mentors. Mr. Lee has been named the 2026 State VEX Robotics Coach of the Year, recognizing his outstanding leadership and commitment to the Gateway Robotics program and the students he serves.
This prestigious recognition highlights the dedication, passion, and countless hours Mr. Lee invests in helping students grow both technically and personally through robotics. Under his leadership, Gateway Robotics has continued to expand, compete at high levels, and provide students with hands-on opportunities to develop skills in engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Students involved in the program gain far more than technical knowledge. Through competitions, design challenges, and collaborative work, Mr. Lee encourages scholars to think creatively, push through challenges, and build the confidence needed to succeed in STEM-related careers.
His impact reaches beyond the robotics lab. By mentoring and supporting students each day, Mr. Lee helps inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders while proudly representing Gateway Academy and Christian County Public Schools.
