Gateway Scholars Create Stunning Art in Two-Dimensional Design Class

Students in the Two-Dimensional Design class at Gateway Academy, part of the Graphic Design Pathway, have been hard at work creating impressive vector portrait illustrations. Using Wacom One Pen Tablets and Adobe Illustrator, these scholars produced professional-quality designs that show off both their creativity and technical skills.

Bringing Art and Technology Together

By combining their artistic abilities with industry-standard tools, students are learning skills that go beyond the classroom. These vector portraits highlight their attention to detail and creativity while giving them hands-on experience with the tools used by professionals in graphic design.

Building Tomorrow’s Leaders

Classes like this one at Gateway Academy are an important part of Career and Technical Education (CTE). They give students the chance to explore careers and gain real-world experience in fields like graphic design, setting them up for success after high school. Programs like these are helping to shape the future leaders and creative thinkers of our community, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

A Step Toward a Bright Future

The work these students are doing isn’t just about learning—it’s about building confidence and preparing for life beyond school. The skills they’re developing in design, technology, and problem-solving will serve them well, whether they choose to continue their education or head straight into the workforce.

Great job to the Two-Dimensional Design students for their amazing work! Your talent and hard work are an inspiration to everyone in our community.
