Christian County Middle School hosted the Cupid’s Clash VEX V5 Robotics Competition – High Stakes on February 15, 2025, bringing together robotics teams from across the region for a day of competition. The Gateway Academy teams competed in both skills challenges and match play, demonstrating strong engineering, strategy, and teamwork throughout the event.

Innovate Award – Recognizing Engineering Excellence
One of the most prestigious awards of the event, the Innovate Award (VRC/VEXU/VAIRC), was awarded to Ursus (8349U). This award recognizes teams that demonstrate unique engineering solutions and creative problem-solving in their robot design.
