The Hopkinsville High School (HHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) recently attended the regional competition at Murray State University, where they showcased their skills and dedication to business leadership. The event proved to be a resounding success, with HHS students earning multiple awards and recognitions for their outstanding performances.
HHS was honored for its increased membership, highlighting the growing interest in FBLA and its impact on students. Several students also secured top placements in various competitive events:
- Josiah Nemes – 2nd Place in Client Service
- Kaveenah White – 3rd Place in Job Interview
- Josiah Nemes & DeKiza Glover – 3rd Place in Local Chapter Name Tag
- NaVaun Williams & McHale Manning-Lewis – 2nd Place in Sports and Entertainment Management
These students have now qualified to compete at the State Leadership Conference in April, where they will have the opportunity to represent HHS on a larger stage and compete against the best in Kentucky.
Additionally, Ms. Cauthen received a special recognition as Hopkinsville High School’s 2025 Outstanding Advisor, a tribute to her dedication and leadership in guiding FBLA students to success.
