Hopkinsville High School’s own Cate Blane is kicking off her senior year with remarkable momentum and promise. At Tuesday’s Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational, Cate delivered her season-best performance, finishing in a tie for fourth place.
Starting her round on the 11th hole, Cate made an impressive statement early on by eagling the par-5 14th hole, bringing her to 2-under through the first four holes. Her precision and skill continued to shine as she added two birdies in her final nine holes. Though she encountered challenges with two bogeys and a double bogey on the 8th hole, Cate maintained her composure and finished strong with a commendable 3-over 74.
