High School Excellence

Jordan Majors made an indelible mark at Hopkinsville High School (2009-2013), where he was a key player for the Tigers:

  • Career Record: 102-24, including two regional championships.
  • Senior Year Highlights: Averaged 21.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, leading the Tigers to a 33-5 record and a trip to the KHSAA Sweet 16 semifinals. He scored 31 points in the state semifinal against Madison Central.

    • 2013 Region Two Player of the Year
    • 2012-13 All-District and All-Region Teams
    • 2013 First Team All-State

2016-17: All-SSC Second Team

  • Stats:
    • Appeared in 29 games, starting 27.
    • Averaged 20 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
    • Shot 46.2% from the field, 35% from three-point range, and 80.4% from the free-throw line.
    • Ranked 2nd in SSC for scoring (580 points) and 5th for rebounding (134 rebounds).
    • Ranked 13th in SSC for field goal percentage (.462) and 5th for assists (131).
    • Placed 3rd in SSC for steals.
  • Recorded double-digit scoring in 28 of 29 games, with a season-high 35 points against Eckerd (Nov. 16).

2015-16: Key Contributor

  • Played in all 29 games, starting 27 as a redshirt sophomore.
  • Averaged 12.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
  • Ranked 7th in the SSC in free throw percentage (.804).
  • Scored a career-high 31 points against Lynn and recorded two double-doubles.

2014-15: Freshman Standout

  • Named to the DII Bulletin All-Freshman Team and honored as the SSC Freshman of the Year.
  • Appeared in 28 games, starting 25, with totals of 296 points, 77 rebounds, and 75 assists.
  • Highlight performances included 24 points, seven rebounds, and four assists vs. Florida Southern and 23 points against Palm Beach Atlantic.

2013-14: Redshirt Year

  • Sat out the season due to injury, retaining freshman eligibility.

Legacy and Personal Achievements

By the end of his collegiate career, Majors had become Florida Tech’s all-time leading scorer, setting the record in February 2018 with 1,898 career points. His leadership and skill were instrumental in his team’s success and earned him recognition as one of the top players in the Sunshine State Conference.
