Lady Colonels Walk to End Alzheimer’s: A Tradition of Community Service

On October 5th, the Lady Colonels continued their tradition of community service by participating in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” event. Under the leadership of head coach Kiki Radford, who has supported the cause since her first year coaching, the team was invited to assist with setting up and taking down the event. Starting at 7:00 AM, the Lady Colonels worked diligently to prepare the venue, and later in the day, they walked alongside other supporters, showing their commitment to raising awareness for Alzheimer’s disease.

The Lady Colonels’ involvement in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a meaningful part of their season, allowing the athletes to give back and make a positive impact on the community. Their participation not only showcases their dedication on the court but also highlights their compassion off the court. The team has embraced this cause for many years, standing as role models in the community and inspiring others to join the fight against Alzheimer’s.

As they walked for this important cause, the Lady Colonels displayed their unity and passion for making a difference. The event was a success, and the team looks forward to continuing this tradition in the future. The Lady Colonels’ involvement in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is more than just an annual event; it’s a testament to their values of teamwork, leadership, and service to the community.
