Students, staff, and community members came together for an exciting and active day during the Panther Fitness Frenzy, hosted by Sinking Fork Elementary School.
The event took place at Trail of Tears Park, where the school’s STLP club partnered with community organizations to create a fun and engaging fitness experience for all ages.
Despite the chilly weather, participants stayed active with a variety of activities. The energy of the day turned the cold into an opportunity to get moving and stay warm while promoting healthy habits.
Led by student leaders in the STLP program, the event highlighted both teamwork and community involvement, giving students the opportunity to take ownership in planning and hosting a meaningful activity.
Special thanks were given to community partners who helped make the day possible, including Visit Hopkinsville, Hopkinsville YMCA, Christian County Cooperative Extension Service, and Boys & Girls Club of Hopkinsville, along with the dedicated Sinking Fork staff.
The Panther Fitness Frenzy continues beyond the event, as students and families can still participate by visiting the program’s website to challenge themselves and stay active.
Through student leadership and strong community partnerships, Sinking Fork Elementary continues to promote healthy living in creative and engaging ways.
