The Christian County High School boys soccer team etched its name into school history Wednesday night, earning the program’s first-ever victory with a complete performance on both ends of the field.
The Tigers found the breakthrough on the attack with goals from Joseph Lopez and Anthony Evangelista, giving Christian County the offensive spark it needed to secure the historic win. Mikel Ramirez added an assist, helping create one of the night’s scoring opportunities as the Tigers capitalized on their chances.
Just as important as the offensive effort was the work done on the defensive end. Goalkeeper Landon Beaulieu stood tall between the posts, recording six saves and preserving a clean sheet. Time and again, the Tigers answered every challenge, keeping their opponents off the scoreboard from the opening kickoff until the final whistle.
