A new chapter in Christian County athletics will unfold Saturday morning as the Christian County Lady Tigers take the field for the first home girls soccer match in school history.
The Lady Tigers will welcome Logan County for their home season opener, giving the community its first opportunity to watch the program compete on its home pitch. Varsity action is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., with the junior varsity match following at approximately 11:30 a.m.
For the players, the match represents more than another date on the schedule. It is the first chance to defend their home field while wearing the Tiger colors in front of classmates, families, and supporters. Every pass, save, and goal will become part of the early history of a program beginning to establish its identity.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and help create an energetic atmosphere as the Lady Tigers take the field.
