Hopkinsville High School’s own Cate Blane is kicking off her senior year with remarkable momentum and promise. At Tuesday’s Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational, Cate delivered her season-best performance, finishing in a tie for fourth place.

Starting her round on the 11th hole, Cate made an impressive statement early on by eagling the par-5 14th hole, bringing her to 2-under through the first four holes. Though she encountered challenges with two bogeys and a double bogey on the 8th hole, Cate maintained her composure and finished strong with a commendable 3-over 74.
