Hopkinsville Middle School welcomed athletes, families, and football fans from across the region on Saturday for its 2nd Annual 7-on-7 Tournament and Lineman Challenge, bringing together seven teams and over 300 spectators for a day of competition, development, and community support.
Teams competed in both the junior varsity and varsity 7-on-7 divisions while linemen showcased their strength and athleticism in the Lineman Challenge. The event provided valuable preseason experience, allowing players to gain meaningful reps as they prepare for the upcoming football season.
Christian County Middle School captured the JV 7-on-7 Championship, while Trigg County Middle School claimed the Varsity 7-on-7 Championship. Christian County Middle also took home the Lineman Challenge title.
The tournament drew more than 300 spectators throughout the day, creating an exciting atmosphere for players, coaches, and families alike. The strong turnout reflected the continued support for middle school athletics and the growing tradition of the annual event.
For Hopkinsville Middle School, the day was about much more than wins and losses. Hosting schools from around the area gave athletes the opportunity to compete, improve, and build relationships while preparing for the season ahead. Every team left with valuable experience that will help as kickoff draws closer.
