The next chapter of Middle School Tigers Baseball is just around the corner.
Student-athletes from Hopkinsville Middle School and Christian County Middle School will soon have the opportunity to earn a spot on this year’s Middle School Tigers Baseball team as tryouts are scheduled for Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15.
Tryouts will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the CCHS Colonel Baseball Field and are open to eligible players from both middle schools. All participants must have an updated KHSAA sports physical on file before taking the field.
The Middle School Tigers program continues to provide young athletes from across Christian County with the opportunity to compete at a high level while preparing for the future of Tigers baseball. Bringing together players from Hopkinsville Middle and Christian County Middle allows student-athletes to develop their skills, build relationships with future teammates, and compete against some of the area’s top middle school programs.
Beyond the game, the program emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, and a strong work ethic—qualities that will benefit players long after the final out.
As another season approaches, coaches are looking forward to welcoming both returning players and newcomers who are ready to represent the Tigers.
