Over the weekend, Cayden Cline from Christian County Middle School was invited to the Dream Mile at Assumption HS. This is a huge deal for distance runners to be invited to, since only 16 from middle school level in the state get invited. Cayden is currently ranked 8 out of 16 with a time of 4:51 for the mile. Since the dream mile has started, no Christian County athlete has qualified. The last athlete to qualify from CCPS was Chase Atkins from Hopkinsville HS. So this is a HUGE deal to be invited and to get to participate. The race will be Friday, 5/10 at 8:40pm EST.
